The motto of this site is: "A picture speaks a thousand words"

Much has been written about photography.
Mostly about technique.
This e-zine is mainly about the aesthetic side.
At least once a week there will be a new photograph with a short text.

During my studies Creative Photography at Humber College in Toronto (Canada) I had Art History as a main subject.
I also got lessons in ZIEN. (the Dutch word for SEEING)
Looking at and consciously being aware of the world around you is very important in Art, and Photography is an Art in my opinion.
I used the Japanese word ZEN because with ZEN I think of beauty through simplicity.
Therefore ZENSEEING, seeing things the zen way.

I have been a photographer for almost 40 years and the last 23 years I also worked as a tv-cameraman.
The Dutch and the English text is by me.
My wife Keiko takes care of the Japanese text.
In future there will be photographs from England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, USA, Canada, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Morocco, Japan, China, Mongolia, USSR, Fiji, New Zealand and more.

Without the enthousiastic help of Alex Kwak, this site would not have been possible.
He did all the technical work.
For this he deserves my eternal gratitude.

Henk Bakker, Loosdrecht.
